Job Description

SUMMARY



The Fort Sill Apache Gaming Commission (FSAGC) is accepting applications for the position of Senior Director. The Senior Director is the principal regulatory executive responsible for the administration, oversight, and enforcement of all Tribal gaming regulatory functions, including regulatory oversight of the Apache Casino Hotel Surveillance Director and staff.



The Senior Director, appointed by the FSAGC with approval of the Fort Sill Chiricahua Warm Springs Apache Business Committee, serves under the authority and oversight of the FSAGC. The Senior Director is responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, honesty, and fairness of all gaming activities and serves as the primary liaison to federal, state, and Tribal regulatory and law enforcement agencies, including the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC).



This position is responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the Fort Sill Apache Gaming Ordinance and all rules, regulations, and directives issued by the Commission.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES



The Senior Director is responsible for, including but not limited to:



• Directing and overseeing daily monitoring of all gaming activities to ensure compliance with Tribal, federal, and applicable gaming regulations.



• Enforcing all provisions of the Gaming Ordinance and all FSAGC rules, regulations, and directives.



• Ensuring gaming operations maintain integrity, security, honesty, and fairness at all times.



• Serving as the primary liaison with the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) and other regulatory and law enforcement agencies.



• Overseeing licensing, suitability determinations, and ongoing background investigations of gaming employees and applicants. • Ensuring only suitable individuals are licensed or employed in gaming operations in accordance with applicable standards.



• Reviewing records, reports, and documentation necessary for enforcement of the Gaming Ordinance.



• Identifying violations and recommending sanctions or corrective actions to the Commission.



• Monitoring gaming operations to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance and operational integrity.
