As a Referrals Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in the patient care journey. You’ll help coordinate specialty referrals, support patients through every step, and contribute to the health and well-being of our island community.

What You’ll Do

Coordinate, track, and follow up on patient referrals
Collaborate with providers and care teams
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records
Assist with patient travel coordination for appointments
Support quality improvement initiatives and ongoing training
Provide excellent service to patients and families
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational standards
Adapt smoothly to daily workflow changes

Your Schedule

Monday–Friday (most weekends off!)
Shifts between 6:30 AM–6:00 PM (8‑ or 10‑hour schedules)

What You Bring

High school diploma or GED
1 year of clinical office experience (or equivalent combination of training/experience)
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with QUEST & other insurance programs
- Knowledge of Hawaiʻi Health Care Networks
- ICD‑10 & CPT coding knowledge
