Position Summary

The Apprentice – Electrical – IN Region is an entry-level role for individuals seeking to build a career in the electrical trade. Working under the guidance of experienced Electricians and Foremen, the Apprentice assists with installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. This role provides hands-on training and practical experience while supporting successful project execution throughout the Indiana Region.

 

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist with assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, conduit, cable, and related equipment
  • Install and mount electrical controls, devices, panels, sensors, and system components under supervision
  • Support testing of electrical systems and circuit continuity using appropriate tools and testing devices
  • Assist in diagnosing malfunctioning systems, equipment, and components and support corrective actions
  • Read and follow blueprints, electrical layouts, and building plans to complete assignments accurately
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized condition
  • Learn and apply National Electrical Code requirements and applicable local regulations
  • Follow all company safety policies and actively participate in safety training and jobsite practices
  • Document work performed and provide progress updates to supervisors as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Foremen or Journeymen to support project needs
