Job Summary:
Lead all purchasing, procurement, and vendor management for residential projects across Southwest Florida
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with construction, project management, and finance teams to align procurement with project needs and budgets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Negotiate major contracts and long-term vendor agreements
- Establishes hard cost budgets and sales pricing for all new home designs, including standard and non-standard options pricing; maintains costing system for current and accurate pricing information.
- Oversee and mentor the purchasing team, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability
- Track market trends, materials costs, and supplier performance to inform strategic decisions
- Oversee and manage the Division’s Design Studio
- Coordinates and oversees new home start process including review and monitoring of hard cost budgets, subcontractor and materials invoicing. If applicable, obtains and monitors necessary permit and licensing procedures.
- Review and analyze monthly reports concerning budget reserves, overages, expenses and write-offs for each new home contract, to assist with month end financial reporting.
- May directly supervise accounts payable, production and/or costing administrative staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
