Responsibilities What your days look like as a Superintendent of Operations: Plan, organize, and oversee daily terminal operations, including vessel loading and unloading activities; Coordinate marine operations and cargo handling to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance; Supervise unionized operational teams and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations; Optimize the use of equipment, manpower, and resources to meet operational objectives; Monitor operational performance and prepare productivity and cost-control reports; Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement initiative. Qualifications To succeed as a Superintendent of Operations, you must have Experience supervising unionized personnel in an operational or industrial environment; Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills; The ability to work on-site and across different shifts, as required by operations; A high school diploma or college degree (relevant experience will be considered an asset); A valid Class 5 driver’s license.
