Job Description

We are ALTEN Mexico, an engineering and technology consulting company that provides specialized solutions for engineering, technology, and product development projects within the automotive industry and beyond.

As a Material Flow & Logistics Engineer, you will support logistics and supply chain operations by coordinating suppliers, managing operational follow‑up, and analyzing data to improve efficiency. This mid‑level role requires a balanced analytical and operational profile, with strong coordination skills and the ability to work across internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic automotive environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Monitor inventory levels and perform operational follow‑up to support stock accuracy.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and carriers, including follow‑up on deliveries, services, and payment status.
  • Act as a liaison between internal areas (logistics, purchasing, finance, operations) and external partners.
  • Track logistics operations and KPIs to ensure service level compliance.
  • Perform data analysis to identify inefficiencies and propose improvement actions.
  • Support cost optimization initiatives and logistics improvement plans.
  • Participate in supplier negotiations and follow‑up on contractual agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, policies, and logistics standards.
