🔍 What You’ll Do
As Director of Market Access & Reimbursement, you’ll lead payer value communication strategies that support access and reimbursement for CDL’s cardiac imaging services across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid markets.
A key responsibility of this role is to develop and adapt value communication resources to meet organizational needs across CDL Nuclear Technologies’ imaging modalities. This includes creating tailored materials such as payer value decks, cost-impact analyses, and summary tools that highlight the differentiated value of Cardiac PET/CT imaging across the payer continuum. The Director will design a comprehensive strategy that aligns with market dynamics, payer priorities, and institutional drivers to effectively communicate value and support payer-level pull-through.
The Director will collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Reimbursement, and Commercial/Operations teams to ensure value messages are consistent, credible, and responsive to payer scrutiny, policy changes, and competitive pressures. This role is critical in maintaining CDL Nuclear Technologies’ leadership position by enabling internal stakeholders to deliver tailored, high-impact access communications across diverse customer segments.
You’ll drive impact by:
Translating clinical, real-world, and economic data into compelling payer value narratives
Developing payer value decks, cost-impact tools, and summary materials
Leading cost-effectiveness and budget impact analyses
Partnering with Marketing, Finance, Reimbursement, and Commercial teams
Creating objection handlers, FAQs, and field enablement tools
Monitoring payer trends (MACs, commercial insurers, CMS)
Supporting value-based contracting and payer segmentation strategies
Ensuring all materials meet legal, regulatory, and compliance standards
🎯 Qualifications
Required:
12+ years in pharma, biotech, medical technology, or similar industry
5+ years in HEOR, Market Access, or payer value communications
Strong understanding of U.S. payer dynamics and Medicare Part B
Ability to translate complex data into payer-facing tools
Strong communication and leadership skills
Familiarity with the MAC’s and overall reimbursement landscape in both governmental and private areas
Preferred:
Advanced degree (PharmD, MPH, MHA, PhD, or MBA)
Cardiovascular therapeutic experience
Experience in Market Access Strategy or Payer Account Management
Experience building health economic models
