This is for an Extended School Year (ESY) program and is considered a BOCES ESY position.

LOCATION OF POSITION: Fairport NY 14450; Transportation Department

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: July 9, 2026 - August 19, 2026. Some positions start July 7. For all BOCES Programs Pre and Post summer trainings and set-up as directed.

SALARY RANGE: $17.35 - $19.10 per hour (or higher pending contract negotiations) or your 2026-27 rate in this title for current Monroe One Boces staff
Non-District Drivers, there is a Mandatory orientation/training

DUTIES:
Safe operation of a school bus used to transport Special Education students on assigned routes to and from school and shuttles.  The bus driver is responsible for the safety and conduct of students while in transport.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1.  Civil Service eligibility as a School Bus Driver:  Possession of a valid NYS driver's license appropriate to the vehicle(s) operated.

2.  Current DMV 19A and SED 156.3 Certification, copies to be submitted.

3.  Appropriate CDL License.

4.  Applicants must commit to working the full 30-day Summer School Program.

5.  Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
