Vertus Healthcare is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Staffing Coordinator to support our growing workforce. This role plays a key part in full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates and new hires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for healthcare and home health roles, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding
- Create and maintain job postings on Indeed and within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring decisions
- Maintain accurate and compliant hiring records, including ATS documentation
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, background checks, and I-9 verification
- Support onboarding, orientation, and 90-day new hire check-ins
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines through sourcing, networking, and community partnerships
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or HR coordination (healthcare or home health preferred)
- Knowledge of onboarding processes, including background checks and I-9 compliance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting in a healthcare or home health agency setting
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
