WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

We are looking for a mechanical engineering student to join our supply engineering team. This is your opportunity to be exposed to multiple engineering disciplines while working closely with mentors that will designate meaningful assignments. We offer opportunities to give you unique experiences across the business in different market segments and engineering teams.

While working on several supply engineering productivity projects, you will gain exposure to:

  • Work within a project team under the leadership of more experienced individuals 
  • Assist engineers with the research, development, testing, documentation, and design of all products 
  • Design, develop, and test proof of concept and system level prototypes 
  • Generate engineering change notices and project documentation 
  • Support production related issues and quality assurance 
  • Design and conduct experiments to verify product functionality 
  • Utilize specialize engineering equipment to test and validate concepts and system level designs 
  • Analysis and resolution of production and field issues 
  • Participation in mechanical discipline activities including design reviews.  Includes direct interaction with Mechanical Technical Manager during development of discipline processes.

  • Ability to read and write technical documents 
  • Ability to follow directions and manage time for multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to identify and communicate when task assigned is unclear; ask questions and acquire sufficient data to proceed on task 
  • Ability to professionally interact with other stakeholders (Management, Procurement, Technical Staff, Manufacturing, Vendors, and Customers) to move a program forward. Technical aptitude and the ability to perform engineering calculations
