Who We Are

Legacy Development & Management is a privately held real estate investment firm focused on hospitality, multifamily, office, and retail properties. Since 1978, the firm has built a scaled hospitality platform through disciplined acquisitions, development, and long-term asset management.

What You Can Expect

As an Acquisitions & Development Analyst, you will work directly with senior leadership to support the evaluation and execution of hotel investments across acquisitions, development, and repositioning strategies. You will gain hands-on experience across the full deal lifecycle, including underwriting, market analysis, and transaction execution.

In this role, you will be responsible for building financial models, analyzing operating performance, and supporting investment decisions. You will also contribute to due diligence efforts, prepare investment materials, and develop a strong understanding of hospitality markets and capital structures.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include underwriting acquisition and development opportunities, building detailed financial models, supporting the preparation of investment memos and presentations, conducting market and industry research, and assisting in transaction execution from initial evaluation through closing.

Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in real estate, finance, or investing through academic coursework, internships, or extracurricular involvement. Relevant coursework may include finance, real estate, economics, accounting, or related fields.

Familiarity with financial modeling concepts, strong analytical skills, and the ability to think critically about risk and return are important. Attention to detail and clear communication skills are essential.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028 from a bachelor's or accelerated master's program
    • Master's candidates must complete their degree within two years of receiving a bachelor's degree
  • Strong interest in commercial real estate
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

What This Role Offers

This position provides direct exposure to senior decision-makers, hands-on involvement in live transactions, and the opportunity to develop a strong foundation in hospitality acquisitions and development within a lean and active investment environment.
