Job Description

Mission Responsible for reaching out to Barri Agents to collect payment for outstanding balance or other payments Placing direct phone calls, legal letters and E-mails to companies that are past due. Responsibilities include:  Contact Barri Agents regarding overdue accounts and determine reasons for non-payment.  Records any and all collection efforts taken on individual accounts.  Takes full responsibility for all accounts assigned and answers all inquiries concerning such accounts.  Issue payment commitment letters.  Maintain accurate records about the agent’s payment status.  Excises discretion and judgment in making financial arrangements.  Refers delinquent accounts to legal department when efforts to obtain payment have proven unsuccessful  Analysis financial Reporting according to Management requirements.  Handle day to day internal customer’s calls related to collection issues. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s) and/or Competencies:  Daily and weekly reporting to direct supervisor.  Daily Delinquency notices.  High volume phone calls to assigned delinquent accounts.  Reconcile agent’s disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due  Participate in team planning meetings.  Meet defined department goals and activity metrics.  Requires core competencies of communication, leadership, ability to drive change, innovative outlook and problem analysis.  Strong customer service skills and a desire to provide solutions to our internal and external customer  Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments while meeting deadlines.  Very good problem solving skills and an ability to work within the company to influence behaviors to support our customers.  A self-starter, with excellent time management and organizational skill required.  Strong PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office required.  Ability to work well independently in a team environment. Ability to work with all levels within the organization required.  Good verbal and written professional communication.  Ability to work under pressure and delivery of requirements on specific due dates.
