Purpose Statement: Negotiate lowest total cost of ownership supply side component contracts for assigned commodities. Support sites in achieving customer satisfaction with associated cost, quality, delivery, and working capital.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Prepare and execute RFQs: Contribute to the Global & Regional Request for Quote (RFQ) Process, including quoting and repricing efforts, to contribute to cost reduction with a focus on lowest total cost.
- Deliver site material escalation support through the parts expediting process (Plexpedite). Take swift action on part shortages so our manufacturing sites have the right parts to meet our customers’ needs.
- Perform Plexus agreement loading, review, and maintenance to ensure continuity of supply.
- Maintain data integrity by being detail oriented and tech savvy. Ensure clean data management to safeguard the operational metrics, which allow for quality decision making and management.
- Optimize business processes with a LEAN mindset and an eye for continuous improvement. Drive out waste and downtime from sourcing tools, processes and systems to increase team productivity and value.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.

Physical Requirements:
- Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
