Position Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages and light food items while creating a friendly and engaging environment for guests. This role plays an important part in the overall guest experience, especially during the busy summer tourism season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Prepare and serve simple food items according to hotel standards
- Provide friendly, attentive service and engage with guests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Handle cash and process payments accurately
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Support front desk or hotel team as needed during slower periods
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending or food and beverage experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic drink preparation and food handling
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak summer months
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude and team mindset
