Job Description

Surveyor

An excellent opportunity is available for a Surveyor to join our growing Survey team. This position offers the chance to further develop your surveying career, progress towards registration with the Surveyors Board, and be supported by a team of experienced and driven industry professionals using the latest equipment and technology.

Key responsibilities
In this role, you will provide expert guidance, coordination and technical input across a variety of surveying projects.

  • You will build and maintain strong client relationships within the infrastructure and development sectors, while undertaking fieldwork, calculations and data processing.
  • The position involves managing projects end-to-end, including client liaison, internal communication and support with budgets and accounts.
  • You will also assist Team Leaders and the Survey Manager with resource planning and mentoring of junior staff, while ensuring compliance with company work health and safety standards.

About you
You will be registered with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as an Associate Surveyor, or be a Graduate working towards registration, with full Surveyor registration or above highly regarded.

You will bring 2–3 years’ experience across a range of surveying projects, along with a demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively.

Experience in client management and team leadership will be viewed favourably.

Strong organisational and time management skills are essential, along with proficiency in surveying equipment and software.

Experience with Trimble instruments and 12D will be advantageous.

You will be comfortable working in technically complex environments and delivering key project milestones, supported by sound technical capability and clear communication skills.

A current QLD manual driver’s licence is required.

You must be based in Brisbane or open to relocation, with full working rights, as sponsorship is not available for this role.
