QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current license required.
• At least one year of successful professional experience preferred.
• Must possess the ability to monitor compliance of measures that protect students/others in accordance with state, federal and local health department regulations, i.e. immunizations, mandatory reporting, communicable diseases, etc.
• Must maintain confidentiality in compliance with state/federal/school district policies.
• Must be willing to provide a wide range of nursing care tasks in a school setting. May include one on one care.
• Ability to work effectively in a positive manner with students/staff/parents from a diverse cultural, social and economic background sometimes under stressful situations.
• Must possess effective oral/written communication skills.
• Ability to work with outside agencies under the direction of the Health Services Supervisor to ensure school health services are effective.
• Must possess a high degree of organizational and documentation skills.
• Must possess a valid WA State Driver’s License and current First Aid and CPR cards.
• Must complete and pass background check through Washington State Patrol and FBI.
• Bilingual preferred.
