YOUR DAY TO DAY:

We are currently looking for a driven and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department across a broad range of functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HRIS administration, benefits administration, training coordination, and HR reporting. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting both employees and leaders throughout the employee lifecycle.

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE TO: 

  • Assist with recruitment activities including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, administering candidate assessments, participating in interviews, and conducting reference checks
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding activities including preparing new hire documentation, creating and maintaining employee files, issuing mentor letters, scheduling orientation and required training sessions, and ensuring completion of onboarding requirements
  • Schedule and track training for new hires and existing employees, while maintaining accurate training logs and records
  • Enter and maintain employee data in the HRIS and online benefits systems with a high degree of accuracy
  • Administer employee enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries in benefit programs
  • Prepare employment-related documents including letters, presentations, reports, forms, and other HR correspondence
  • Act as a point of contact for employees HR related inquiries
  • Assist with employee activities, recognition initiatives, wellness programs, and employee engagement events
  • Assist with the coordination and administration of key HR programs and initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure HR records and documentation are accurate and up to date
  • Keep current with HR legislation, trends, and best practices

    YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

    • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
    • 1-3 years of experience working in a Human Resources environment
    • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement activities
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS); experience with UltiPro/UKG is considered an asset
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • High attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
    • Self-motivated with a strong initiative to learn and grow professionally
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
    • Must be able to meet CGP requirements.
