Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented mechanic to join our team. In this role you will support 23XI Racing in the assembly, disassembly, and servicing of race cars and their components. This role will have a primary focus on engine installation and removal. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install engines and ensure proper alignment and mounting
  • Perform fluid plumbing for cooling, lubrication, and fuel systems
  • Prepare and fit engine ductwork to meet aerodynamic and performance standards
  • Support chassis dyno operations, including setup and monitoring
  • Inspect and troubleshoot engine-related components for optimal performance
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and adhere to safety protocols
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

 

Required Skills, Experience and Abilities

To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • 3+ years of experience in a top-tier motorsports program
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer skills
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical components and car systems
  • Ability to assess and react to situations in a fast-paced stressful environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Skills to work independently, and operate well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to identify and propose solutions to complex issues
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to drive execution and results
