Job Purpose
DP World is currently seeking a Landside Coordinator to join our Ports & Terminal operations at Port Botany, NSW. In this role, you will coordinate activities between the terminal and landside transport providers, ensuring smooth operations, timely management of PBLIS events, and efficient daily planning while providing quality customer service.
We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity available, working a 40-hour week across Monday to Friday. This role operates on a rotating roster of 8-hour shifts to support office coverage between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain regular communication with road and rail customers, providing updates and resolving PBLIS-related queries
Liaise with landside customers to ensure road transport activities support optimal terminal performance
Ensure safe operations, leading by example and proactively managing hazards
Monitor terminal productivity using Navis, SPARCS, 1-Stop, Qlik, and CR Log to support planning and scheduling
Analyse operational and financial data, prepare reports, manage billing, and create PR/PO entries
Assist in daily operations planning, coordination, and administrative oversight
Optimise carrier bookings, manifests, and SRO/SRI activities in line with PBLIS rules
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
2+ year’s experience in transport (road and rail) operations and customer service
Strong customer service, communication, planning, and organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with high attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors efficiently
Ability to manage workloads independently or collaboratively to achieve timely results
Knowledge of PBLIS rules and relevant regulatory requirements and comfortable working shift rosters
