About the Role
The Associate Recruiting Coordinator – Lateral Associates is an integral part of Latham’s Associate Recruiting team and will be responsible for supporting lateral associate recruitment by overseeing application processing, interview logistics, and candidate communications, while maintaining records, overseeing vendor relationships, and developing marketing strategies and onboarding plans, as well as coordinating with the Associate Recruiting Manager to develop and implement recruitment strategies and organizing and representing the firm at recruiting events. This role will be located in either our New York or Washington, D.C. office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in all phases of the recruitment process, including processing applications, coordinating interview schedules, and managing onboarding logistics
- Maintaining and updating candidate records, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance with firm policies
- Preparing and disseminating marketing materials, statistics, and progress reports to support recruitment efforts
- Supporting the management of search firm and vendor relationships, tracking agreements, and ensuring competitive fee rates
- Promoting effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect for co-workers
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Exhibit well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all organizational levels and work well in a team, with a customer-service focus
- Demonstrate the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion, possess strong analytical skills with minimal supervision, and attention to detail for quality assurance
- Possess organizational skills to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple deadlines, as well as a proficiency in MS Office, applicant tracking systems, and interview platforms
And have:
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in legal recruitment or professional services

Pay Range
USD $75,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
