Job Description

Lantana Recovery provides intensive clinical and therapeutic services to adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders in a licensed, outpatient facility.


Lantana Recovery offers holistic Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programming, including clinical psychoeducational programming, group and individual therapy, recovery activities and interventions designed to assist the client in initiating and sustaining a meaningful recovery. Services are provided with client-centered and family-centered approaches and are delivered through intensive, time-limited, goal specific interventions.


Primary therapists are responsible for performing a variety of direct clinical services to assigned clients as directed by the Clinical Director.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrates the company mission, purpose, values and beliefs in everyday
    language
  • Provides safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance
    with established policies, procedures, and standards of care
  • Provides collaborative direct client care to include group therapy, individual
    therapy, and family therapy.
  • Conducts a variety of assessments, including biopsychosocial assessments and
    suicide risk assessments.
  • Develops a working diagnosis for assigned clients admitted for treatment.
  • Provides case management services as needed to include but not limited to
    communication with client’s outside providers.
  • Develops collaborative treatment plans with client and continued updates in
    accordance with State regulations and the Joint Commission.
  • Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure all aspects of client care.
  • Manages any crises that arise under therapist’s care to include emotional
    instability, suicidality, active substance use or related situations.
  • Proficiency with any clinical documentation within Electronic Medical Record

 

Qualifications include:

  • Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related human service
    (Will consider Bachelors level candidate with APSC certification and relevant
    experience)
  • Licensed or certified in South Carolina as a qualified mental health professional
    (e.g., LMSW/LISW, LMFT, LPC, LAC, ADC, AADC).
  • Have at least two (2) years’ experience working with substance use/dual
    diagnoses.
  • Demonstrate passion and compassion for client care.
  • Proficiency in modern EMR.
  • Exemplary documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with DHEC and The Joint Commission requirements.
