Help bridge the gap between engineering and AI
innovation in Project NOVA. As an AI & ML Industrial/Process Intern,
you’ll apply your technical expertise to guide model selection and ensure AI
solutions meet real-world needs

Your Tasks:

  • Analyze
    production and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and
    bottlenecks
  • Collect, clean, and structure real-world data
  • Assist in the design and development of AI/ML algorithms to optimize industrial processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and understand process challenges that can be addressed through AI/ML solutions.
  • Conduct data analysis and visualization to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Support the implementation of machine learning models, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Participate in the testing and validation of AI/ML applications to ensure they meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Document findings, methodologies, and results to contribute to project reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing
    or recently completed a degree in Industrial/Process Engineering, or
    related field.
  • Strong
    understanding of machine learning algorithms.
  • Proficiency
    in Python, R, or Java.
  • Experience
    with AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Analytical
    and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication
    and presentation skills.
  • Experience
    with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience
    with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone)
  • Knowledge
    of Azure cloud platforms.
  • Coding
    experience (Python or similar).
  • Ability
    to translate customer needs into technical specs

The expected compensation range for this position is $24.00/hr to $30.00/hr. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on several job-related factors, including relevant education, depth and breadth of experience, professional certifications or license, specialized skills aligned with the role, and internal equity considerations.
