RightWay ABA

RightWay ABA is a woman-owned, BCBA-led business. RightWay ABA focuses on offering in-home ABA therapy for children ages 2-18 years old. RightWay ABA offers training and support for a Behavior Technician (BT) to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) 

Behavior Technician (BT) Duties and Responsibilities:

  • A Behavior Technician (BT), is responsible for assisting behavioral analysis teams in evaluating mental health patients and their conditions over a certain timeframe.

  • Their duties include adhering to behavioral health plans developed by other mental health professionals to provide patients with beneficial care, interviewing patients at their home or healthcare facility and drafting reports to relay their progress to senior mental health professionals.

Behavior Technician (BT) Qualifications and Skills:

  • Communication skills

  • The ability to empathize with patients and their family members

  • The ability to remain professional in high-stress situations

  • Flexibility and adaptability

  • Listening and reasoning skills

  • Must have a mode of transportation to be able to travel

  • After school and/or weekend hours
