Role Purpose
- Own end-to-end client API implementations (kickoff → UAT → production).
- Act as the technical interface between clients and internal engineering.
- Enable clients to successfully integrate and consume our fintech APIs.
- Drive smooth onboarding, reduce friction, and accelerate go-live timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Client Implementation Ownership
- Lead API integration projects from initiation to production.
- Define scope, timelines, milestones, and delivery plans.
- Conduct technical onboarding workshops with internal & client tech teams.
- Translate client business requirements into API workflows.
Technical Advisory & Enablement
- Guide clients on REST APIs, authentication (OAuth2/JWT), webhooks, and best practices.
- Support sandbox/UAT testing and certification processes.
- Provide hands-on guidance using tools like Postman.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Manage multiple API integration projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations.
- Track risks, blockers, and dependencies.
Required Experience
- 3+ years in fintech, capital markets, or financial services.
- 3+ years working with APIs in a client-facing or implementation role.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols.
- Solid knowledge of authentication models (OAuth2, JWT).
- Experience supporting integration of trading, payments, or financial APIs.
- Comfortable reading API documentation and debugging integration flows.
Preferred
- Experience with trading platforms or brokerage APIs.
- Knowledge of FIX protocol (advantage).
- Exposure to omnibus / white-label models.
- Agile / sprint-based delivery experience.
