    Salary Range
    :  

    Hourly rate of pay: $19.39 per hour or current rate for internal candidates
    *Contract currently under negotiation. 

    Start Date:  
    Programs start September 3th, 2024
    Pre-School Year training August 25th-August 28th

    Work Week 
    We are looking to fill  vacancies for our before and after school Extended Day programs, which operate at all nine elementary schools and are open weekdays from 6:30 - 7:30am and 2:00 to 5:30pm throughout the school year. This position will be the lead assistant responsible for leading the group to which they are assigned and planning activities that incorporate the youth voice of the students within their group of students. 

    Student Level:
    Elementary 

    Position Summary:
    Extended Day Elementary programs provide enrichment and recreation opportunities for children and youth with diverse interests, talents, and perspectives. This position performs intermediate human support work planning, writing and implementing youth activities along with supporting strong group management, teaching expectations, building relationships, and implementing student support plans. Responsibilities also include supporting student growth, group management, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Out of School Time Site Supervisor.

    Education and/or Experience:
    High school Diploma or GED (If over 18)
    Minimal experience working with school aged children

    Special Requirements:
    Must be at least 16 years of age
    Department of Human Services training upon hire
