Essential Responsibilities



  • Lead operator team to ensure that all manufacturing targets are met or exceeded

  • Lead and drive strategic initiatives that ensures alignment between market/customer needs and capacity, process capability and delivery of current manufacturing resources

  • Develop, implement, and execute business plan strategy, tactics, and metrics to support and measure the IMECH Business goals for EH&S, capital projects, facilities maintenance, customer focus, and cost

  • Develop, maintain and foster a culture of continuous improvement that is rooted in business performance, which promotes accountability through responsibility and personal involvement

  • Provide input and ownership for all shop issues

  • Develop an environment where goal-directed work teams can achieve high performance levels through effective team skills, team empowerment, communication methods, and associate cooperation

  • Coordinate with Human Resources to create and uphold organizational policies and procedures regarding operational practices and conduct

  • Ensure customer focus is established in all activities


 


Qualifications/Skills:



  • Proven experience as Operations Leader or relevant role

  • Considerable business acumen including business processes, management, budgeting, and operations.

  • Influential communicator with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships at all levels.

  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Quality, Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain

  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development

  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics

  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Knowledge with Microsoft Dynamics an asset.

  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities
