Execute and improve raw material planning and operational buying activities across production sites in EAME to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing and timely product supply to customers. Guarantee raw material availability in line with production requirements, optimize inventory levels, and minimize write-offs. Coordinate purchasing activities with suppliers and internal partners to secure timely deliveries, maintain data accuracy, and achieve cost and efficiency objectives. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and planning strategies within the Naturals EAME network.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute raw material supply aligned with production needs to ensure timely availability and minimal waste.
  • Manage procurement activities including purchase order creation, tracking, and coordination with suppliers for on-time delivery.
  • Monitor and optimise inventory levels in line with company targets, identifying and addressing potential shortages or excesses.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Logistics, and Global Procurement to resolve supply issues and ensure compliance.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement and cost optimisation initiatives.

 

Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or equivalent
  • 2–4 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, or planning.
  • Knowledge of planning, inventory management, logistics/trade affairs (incoterms, customs) and supply chain best practices.
  • Experience in the flavour, ingredient, food or fragrance industry preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Supply Chain certification (APICS, Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt) a plus
  • Understanding of supplier performance management (on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness).
  • Language Skills: Fluent English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset.
