Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Packing & Shipping Manager to oversee our meal packaging and distribution operations. This leadership role is critical to ensuring all orders are prepared accurately, handled safely, and shipped on time while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

This leadership role is critical to ensuring all orders are prepared accurately, handled safely, and shipped on time while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily packing and shipping operations
- Ensure all meals are packaged accurately and prepared for local delivery or nationwide shipping
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance within the packing area
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards
- Manage inventory levels and oversee restocking of packaging supplies
- Train, schedule, and support packing staff to meet production goals
- Monitor workflow efficiency and implement improvements where needed
- Ensure all orders are packed in temperature-controlled coolers appropriately
- Oversee daily deadlines and ensure timely shipment of all orders
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in food production, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 lbs
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of Shipstation is a Plus
- Reviewing all couriers for courier issues
- Adapt to rapid changes
Physical Demands and Other Requirements:
- Ability to work shifts exceeding 8 hours when necessary
- Availability for weekends and flexible scheduling
- Regularly required to stand for 8+ hours
- Frequent use of hands and repetitive motions
- Ability to bend, reach overhead, and lift as needed
- Must have reliable transportation and communication
- Must wear slip-resistant, oil-resistant shoes at all times (employee-provided)
