The Role - What Youāll Do
Our Speech pathologists deliver care aligned with our patient centered values assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of speech language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing and fluency disorder through:
- Evaluation of patients and development of individualized treatment plans including ongoing assessment and discharge planning
- Collaborate with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team to support care goals and optimize outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation while promoting a safe, compliant care environment aligned with safety and infection prevention standards
Qualifications - What We're Looking For
- ā Current state Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- ā¤ļø BLS/CPR Certification required
- š Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year Status is required for this position.
Physical requirements - What you need to know
- A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time.
- Both gross and precise motor functions.
- Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.
- Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
- Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
- Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
- Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
