Join Our Supportive, Fast-Growing Laborist Group!

Are you detail-oriented, great with people, and passionate about supporting patient care? Our Laborist Group is looking for a dependable, organized Patient Registration & Assistant Biller to join our team. This hybrid role combines remote work with local hospital visits and plays a key part in ensuring a smooth experience for our patients, providers, and hospital partners.

If you have a background in OB-GYN, women's health, or medical billing, and you enjoy a mix of independence and collaboration, you'll thrive here!

What You'll Do

Hospital & Provider Support

• Visit local hospitals to pick up face sheets, provider charges, and other key documents.

• Build positive, professional relationships with:

  • Admissions

• Serve as a friendly, reliable representative of our group in all on-site interactions.

Patient Registration & Communication

• Enter patient demographics, insurance, and documentation into AthenaOne EMR.

• Contact patients to verify or update insurance information.

• Explain our billing process clearly-patients receive professional services from our laborists, which are billed by our group, not the hospital.

• Handle all Protected Health Information (PHI) with strict adherence to HIPAA standards.

Billing & Administrative Support

• Assist with claim holds, documentation review, scanning, and organizing key records.

• Support the revenue cycle team with various administrative tasks.

• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in all PHI-related duties.

Requirements

• Experienced in OB-GYN, women's health, L&D, or patient registration (highly preferred).

• Familiar with AthenaOne or other EMR/EHR systems (a plus!).

• Knowledgeable about NV and AZ payers, including Medicaid.

• Strong communicator who builds rapport easily with hospital staff and patients.

• Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable working independently.

• Equipped with reliable transportation for frequent local travel.

• Confident handling PHI and fully committed to HIPAA compliance.
