Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide transportation of the Mobile Mammography unit to other locations within our communities when needed, along with assisting the Technologist in a professional and competent manner.
Responsibilities:
- Must complete van orientation checklist and successfully demonstrate capability of operating vehicle(s).
- Must complete pre-inspection checklist prior to every move and keep documentation.
- Dependable and on time.
- Responsible for the safe management of the vehicle at all times.
- Always maintains patient safety/confidentiality.
- Knows and observes van rules.
- Kind, caring and considerate of patients.
- Always conducts self in professional manner.
- May be required to assist the technologists with greeting patients, assisting patients on/off the unit, answering phones, cleaning, assisting with the laundry, and/or any other needs the technologists may have. This position is NOT solely driving the unit, it is also assisting the technologist.
- Complete mechanical checklist daily.
Other Information:
- Driver's License-State of Maine.
- CDL (A or B) license is preferred.
- BLS card (will provide training to obtain if needed)
