Role Summary

Arcade’s Product Manager, AI role is our first full-time Product Manager hire specifically focused on AI. This role is intended for an individual with extraordinary talent and ambition who wants to build the future of design and commerce AI. You will report directly to our Co-Founder & CEO, Mariam Naficy, and work alongside our engineers, designers, and AI researchers to launch category-defining experiences.

The Product Manager, AI will own critical products from day one, prototyping novel workflows, co-crafting system prompts, defining product strategy, and managing cross-functional execution at a high-velocity early-stage startup. You will have a high degree of ownership in the area of the company’s agent—the world’s first conversational AI product creation agent.

What You’ll Do

• Design and launch work that has real-world impact, cultural visibility, and end-to-end ownership, shaping an entirely new category and product paradigm

• Own end-to-end product workflows from ideation to launch, including user research, technical scoping, and post-launch iteration

• Collaborate closely with engineers, AI researchers, and designers to integrate cutting-edge models and tools into intuitive, production-ready features

• Design and test agentic workflows, LLM chains, and multimodal model calls to power core user actions

• Run prompt tuning, tool usage evaluations, and comparative model benchmarks

• Prototype, test, and refine generative AI interfaces that make product creation feel magical, personal, and effortless

• Lead category model training and fine-turning end-to-end, including experiment design, evals, and hosting/inference considerations

• Drive both synthetic and real data acquisition and generation: source/licensing, data hygiene, taxonomy, labeling/QA, and evaluation datasets to lift output quality and manufacturability

• Implement taste/quality controls, define acceptance thresholds, and instrument on-surface quality metrics to protect user trust at scale

What You Bring

• Availability to start in the near term

• A Computer Science or Engineering degree, with 2+ years of software development experience

• Experience building agentic workflows in personal, research, or production settings

• 4+ years in a PM role or equivalent product ownership at a top technology company

• Technically fluent builder comfortable reading source code, working in notebooks, and debugging eval pipelines

• A demonstrated passion and curiosity for AI: you keep up with trends, emerging innovations, and new applications, and think critically about how to leverage them

• Experience building or shipping products: personal projects, internships, startups, or open-source contributions all count

• Familiarity with modern AI infrastructure — LLMs (and their limitations), prompt engineering, multimodal/image models, vector databases, and agent frameworks.

• Bonus: experience as a startup founder, in early-stage startups, with category data modeling and taxonomies, DFM/manufacturability, pricing and quote systems, on-body visualization/3D, or with makers/luxury brands/design partners
