Job Summary:

We are seeking a Patient Services Advocate to join our healthcare team. The Patient Services Advocate will be responsible for assisting patients with navigating the healthcare system, advocating for their rights, and providing support and information throughout their healthcare journey.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Social Work, or related field.

- Proven experience working in a patient advocacy role or similar position within the healthcare industry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong advocacy skills and ability to empathize with patients.

- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.


Responsibilities:

- Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

- Advocate for patients' rights and assist them in understanding their healthcare options.

- Coordinate appointments, referrals, and other healthcare services for patients.

- Provide emotional support and resources to patients and their families.

- Educate patients on their healthcare rights and responsibilities.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and support services provided.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality care and positive patient outcomes.
