About the Role
We are looking for a data-driven SEO and AEO Strategist to help us understand what truly drives organic performance across our platform. This role goes beyond traditional SEO and focuses on large-scale data analysis, identifying performance patterns across thousands of locations and clients, and translating insights into product and strategy recommendations. You will play a critical role in connecting SEO and AEO outcomes to product capabilities, helping us continuously improve how we drive visibility and results for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale datasets across multiple products, clients, and locations to identify trends, anomalies, and performance drivers
- Identify underperforming clients, segments, or features and diagnose root causes (technical, content, listings, reviews, etc.)
- Develop frameworks to measure AEO and SEO impact across different product features and customer cohorts
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to translate insights into actionable improvements
- Build dashboards, reports, and models to track AEO and SEO performance at scale
- Conduct cohort analysis, A/B test analysis, and correlation studies to understand what moves rankings and traffic
- Monitor algorithm updates and assess their impact across the platform
- Provide clear, data-backed recommendations to improve product performance and customer outcomes
- Help define and evolve internal SEO best practices based on real performance data
What You Bring
Required
- 10+ years in a data-driven SEO role, with meaningful depth in local SEO, enterprise multi- location SEO, content strategy, and technical SEO.
- Strong understanding of SEO and AEO fundamentals (technical SEO, on-page optimization, local SEO, indexing, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel/Sheets, Python or R preferred)
- Experience working with large datasets and identifying meaningful patterns
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, analytics platforms, crawling tools)
- Ability to connect data insights to business and product decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hypothesis-driven mindset
- Excellent communication skills—able to translate complex data into clear insights
- Experience working closely with product and engineering teams
Strongly Preferred
- Experience in local SEO or listings management platforms
- Experience in a B2B SaaS environment
- Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and causal inference
