Teachers Now is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to join our team in Corpus Christi, TX. Step into the classroom, spark curiosity, and provide the steady guidance students need when their full-time teachers are away. This is your chance to make a real difference—every day.
Compensation
$90–$120 per day
(Based on education level and/or Texas teaching certification)
What You’ll Do
Bring learning to life by delivering engaging instruction from lesson plans provided by classroom teachers
Create a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment where students thrive
Encourage participation and maintain classroom structure with confidence
Supervise students during lessons, lunch, recess, and transitions
Assign, guide, and review classwork to keep students on track
Take attendance and report student needs or concerns to school staff
Partner with teachers and administrators to support both academic and behavioral success
(For long-term roles:) Design and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum goals
Schedule
📅 Monday–Friday availability required
Full Day: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Half Day: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
What We’re Looking For
Associate degree or minimum 60 college credit hours (required)
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
At least 1 year of classroom or childcare experience (preferred)
Strong communication skills—both verbal and written
Dependability, punctuality, and reliable transportation
