Job Description

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated Facilities Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities, as well as providing support for various maintenance tasks. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in creating a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.



Key Responsibilities:





  1. Janitorial Duties:




    • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing common areas, restrooms, and breakrooms.

    • Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.




  2. Floor Maintenance:




    • Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, and carpet cleaners.

    • Perform routine floor maintenance, including waxing and polishing.




  3. Facility Maintenance Support:




    • Assist in basic maintenance tasks such as light bulb replacement, minor plumbing repairs, and other general facility upkeep.

    • Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.




  4. Supply Management:




    • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries in restrooms and common areas.

    • Keep an organized inventory of cleaning materials and report when replenishment is needed.




  5. Safety Compliance:




    • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment.

    • Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the Facilities Manager.




  6. Team Collaboration:




    • Collaborate with other facilities team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
