    We are presently accepting applications for the following position. This position requires proper NJ certification.
    TEACHER OF STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES (EMOTIONAL REGULATION IMPAIRMENT (ERI) CLASS)

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    NJ Certificate: Instructional (K-12) with Teacher of Students with Disabilities endorsement, or Teacher of the Handicapped, required

    • Familiar with NJ Student Learning Standards
    • Experience in transition skills, life skills, and vocational education
    • Knowledge of transition services, IEP development and post-secondary planning
    • Familiarly with adult service agencies, supported employment, community-based curriculum, and daily living skills curriculum
    • Must be able to collaborate and be a cooperative member of the multidisciplinary team to support student success
    • Experience with instructional strategies for students with intellectual, developmental, or multiple disabilities
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Knowledge of curriculum modifications
    • Must be able to perform physical work which requires frequent bending and lifting
    • Experience working with at-risk students
    • Knowledge of educational software applications

     

    Salary Range: $64,000 - $117,380 (click on the following link for the full salary schedule: Fair Lawn Education Association)
