Job Description
ASC Engineered Solutions is seeking a highly organized, commercially minded Project Development Coordinator to enable our Project Pursuit team and support the disciplined execution of high‑value, long‑cycle construction projects across the nation.

This role sits at the intersection of Sales Operations, Business Development, and CRM enablement, serving as the connective tissue that ensures critical project information, insights, and actions flow seamlessly across internal teams and channel partners.

How You Will Help:

Project Enablement & Execution
  • Support the Project / Business Development team in managing a focused portfolio of active, high‑value projects
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders (Sales, National Accounts, Operations) to ensure projects advance smoothly through early pursuit phases
  • Act as a central point of organization so BD leaders can focus on cultivating contractor, engineer, and owner relationships
Pipeline, Funnel & CRM Discipline
  • Own project funnel health, ensuring size, accuracy, and stage alignment
  • Drive CRM discipline in Microsoft Dynamics, including 48‑hour activity updates, data completeness, and documentation of touchpoints
  • Help sales teams translate notes, meetings, and conversations into clean, usable CRM data
  • Balance enablement with accountability—supporting adoption while holding teams to standards
Market Intelligence & Reporting
  • Provide actionable project and market insights using tools such as Dodge and internal pipeline data
  • Build and support standardized reporting (MSA, KPR, CRO, weekly pipeline updates)
  • Surface risks, gaps, and next steps to help leadership prioritize resources and influence early
Cross‑Functional Coordination
  • Serve as a bridge between Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Finance, supporting SIOP alignment and forecasting
  • Ensure projects being influenced nationally are understood and enabled locally through reps and distributor branches
  • Make pipeline and project activity visible and actionable across the organization
Process Improvement & Systems Thinking
  • Identify breakdowns in sales pursuit, data capture, and handoff processes
  • Drive continuous improvement in how tools, CRM, and enablement systems are used
  • Bring a systems‑level mindset to complex, long‑cycle project coordination

What You Will Bring:

Experience & Knowledge
  • Experience supporting sales, pipeline, or commercial operations
  • Comfort operating in a CRM‑driven environment (MS Dynamics preferred, not required)
  • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders without direct authority
  • Exposure to project‑based businesses with long sales cycles
  • Industry understanding in construction, mechanical, fire protection, or industrial environments (strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with inventory, operations, or demand planning concepts is a plus
Skills & Capabilities
  • Strong organizational and execution skills; able to manage many moving parts
  • Technically curious with a general understanding of how products, projects, and systems interact
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to turn information into insight and action
  • Clear communicator who can influence, follow up, and hold others accountable
Behaviors & Mindset
  • Accountability‑driven; thrives on follow‑through
  • Detail‑oriented, disciplined, and process‑focused
  • Proactive and comfortable operating in ambiguity
  • Able to influence without authority and balance enablement with governance
  • Energized by large, complex projects and long‑term impact
