What You’ll Be Doing

As a Motor Claims Advisor, you’ll manage the end-to-end insurance claims process, ensuring smooth coordination between customers, surveyors, and workshop teams. Your role is critical in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and supporting business growth.

Customer Service & Claims Advisory

  • Advise customers on insurance claim options in line with Motor Claims Framework (MCF) and GIA guidelines.

  • Provide personalized service during vehicle handover and explain repair details clearly.

  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, surveyors, and insurance companies based on trust and integrity.

Claims & Documentation Management

  • Prepare accurate accident repair estimates and supplementary estimates when required.

  • Ensure timely submission of insurance cases and complete documentation for claims processing.

  • Verify customer details, update records, and maintain detailed case history including photos and reports.

  • Finalize and close insurance invoices promptly; follow up on unclosed cases for settlement.

Negotiation & Coordination

  • Negotiate with surveyors and insurance companies for optimal labor rates and repair charges.

  • Coordinate closely with workshop teams to track repair progress and meet promised deadlines.

  • Liaise with internal departments to minimize vehicle downtime and ensure smooth workflow.

Operational Excellence

  • Conduct vehicle reception checks, take photos, and document condition before repairs.

  • Issue job sheets/repair orders and ensure proper handover of vehicles post-repair.

  • Uphold company and regulatory guidelines, reporting any fraudulent or misconduct cases.

  • Maintain cleanliness and professional image of reception areas.

Additional Duties

  • Handle internal jobs and fleet repairs.

  • Assist team members during absences and undertake ad hoc tasks assigned by superiors.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or Business Administration; NTC 2 or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

  • Prior experience in motor trade or Body & Paint department is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of automotive components, bodywork, paintwork, and warranty processes.

  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel; Class 3 driving license required.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

  • Integrity-driven, detail-oriented, and a team player.
