We are recruiting for a results-driven operations professional with experience in process optimization, project management, and continuous improvement. Skilled in Lean methodologies, workflow standardization, and digital transformation. With proven ability to enhance productivity, streamline warehouse operations, and support data-driven decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Operational Optimization: Assist operations in planning, managing, and optimizing available resources to maximize throughput.
  • Project Management: Lead continuous improvement, strategic, and commercial projects for both new and existing customers.
  • Process Innovation: Implement new solutions and procedures to streamline daily workflows across all departments.
  • Process Mapping: Map all warehouse activities and labour processes to identify "waste" and opportunities for improvement (Gemba).
  • Process Engineering: Lead the ongoing refinement of operational workflows, ensuring that process improvements are standardized and effectively integrated into daily routines.
  • AOS & Lean Culture: Drive the implementation of the "Americold Operating System" (AOS) and promote the daily use of Kaizen and Lean tools.
  • Digital Transformation: Implement digitalization strategies to minimize paper usage and modernize data flow.
  • WMS Optimization: Support the continuous improvement of the Warehouse Management System (WMS), identifying functional gaps and collaborating with IT to implement enhancements that streamline operations
  • Productivity Tools: Develop and deploy new tools designed to enhance workforce productivity.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Support the creation of operational reporting for efficient daily management and client-facing performance reviews.
  • Quality Control: Conduct analysis on SLAs, KPIs, and dashboards to ensure operational quality standards internally and with customers.
  • Training & Coaching: Assist in training employees on new processes and functional responsibilities.
  • Culture & Environment: Foster a proactive, positive, and collaborative work environment, ensuring compliance with company ethics and policies.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or similar (essential)
  • Proficiency in Information Systems: MS Office, SQL, Power BI (PBIX), WMS, and Visio (essential)
  • Fluent in English, Spanish & Catalan (essential)
  • Previous experience in other logistics companies in similar positions. (essential)
  • Strong expertise in Data Analytics & Business Intelligence.
  • Proven experience in Process Mapping, standardization, and execution.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Kaizen tools and Lean methodologies.
  • Excellent project management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on, flexible, and proactive mindset with a "can-do" attitude.
  • Goal-oriented and committed to both individual (MBO) and collective objectives.
