Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full Time

Independence Rehab is actively seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team at Facility Name, a well-regarded skilled nursing facility in Facility City

About the Role

As a COTA in a skilled nursing setting, you'll work collaboratively with the therapy team to support residents through rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care-helping them achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life.

SNF Practice Highlights

  • Treat a diverse caseload, including occasional clinically complex patients

  • Perform and assist with all types of transfers

  • Provide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practice

  • Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team

Requirements

  • Current Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in good standing

  • Associate degree from an accredited OTA program

  • Organized, self-motivated, and patient-focused

  • Passion for working with the geriatric population

  • One year of SNF experience preferred, but newer clinicians with strong interest in geriatrics are encouraged to apply
