Job Description

Inventory Control Day Shift  – Kenny's Candy & Confections

Hours: 10:00am - 6:00pm (Monday - Friday)

Compensation:

  • All in hourly compensation: $21.12/hr
    • Base Pay: $19.90/hr
    • Sign on Bonus: $1.22/hr worked
  • Profit Sharing Eligibility: Begins after completing 1 year of employment ($7.5 Million in Profits Paid to Profit Sharing Pool in 2024 which equated to an extra $6.10/hr or $12,688 annually for employees)

What We Are Looking For

We’re now hiring a Day Shift Warehouse Inventory Control associate to be responsible for maintaining a physical inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished product. This position will also support production by bringing packaging to the necessary lines. Essential Duties:

  • Move packaging inventory needed for production into the production area.
  • Put packaging and finished goods inventory away.
  • Physical counts of inventory, packaging, and finished product in warehouse.
  • Run stage locations reports and reconcile inventory shown
  • Fix inventory Transaction errors
  • Assist in re-training production employees when error are found
  • Adjust inventories as needed
  • Generate a list of product that is close dated weekly
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity gains
  • Place raw materials, packaging, and finished goods on hold and release as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good attendance
  • General math skills
  • Self-motivation
  • Learning and memorizing a sequence of procedures
  • Willing to work well with others
  • Ability to lift up to 55lbs
  • Ability to drive forklift and pass certification exam
  • Use computers and scanning equipment
  • Good communication skills
