Job Title: Clerk 3 (Medical Fitness)

Position Overview
The Clerk 3 (ADM04) role is responsible for delivering a broad range of clerical and administrative support functions within the department. Working under general supervision, the incumbent applies specialized knowledge, sound judgment, and decision-making skills to manage tasks that may involve exceptions to standard procedures. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient office operations and accurate data management.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Upload and manage incoming mail and documentation within the MedFit system
- Track, organize, and maintain documentation using Microsoft Excel
- Compile and consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources
- Prepare, review, and verify documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain records, files, and documentation in accordance with established procedures
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related reports
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate supply of office materials
- Coordinate and distribute inter-office mail efficiently
- Support daily office operations and administrative workflows
- Provide guidance and direction to junior staff, and may assist in supervising team activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Completion of Grade XI (or equivalent)
- Minimum of four (4) years of related clerical or administrative experience
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational, analytical, and data management skills
- Ability to exercise judgment and decision-making within established guidelines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with data systems (e.g., MedFit or similar platforms) is considered an asset
