Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Front Desk Supervisor with hotel experience to lead our front desk team in delivering outstanding guest service. This role requires a blend of excellent customer service skills, leadership abilities, and administrative expertise to ensure the seamless operation of our front desk.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the front desk, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service delivery.
- Supervise, train, and support front desk staff to uphold hotel standards and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and effectively, maintaining a positive image of the hotel.
- Manage room reservations, check-ins, and check-outs in accordance with hotel policies.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met and exceed expectations.
- Monitor front desk inventory, supplies, and equipment; place orders as needed.
- Prepare and present regular reports on front desk activities and assist in financial transactions and cash management.
- Assist in resolving guest issues or emergencies and provide appropriate solutions.
- Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere in the lobby area.

Experience

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations within a resort or hotel setting.
  • Strong background in customer service, with excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with night audit procedures, front desk systems (FOSSE) , and multi-line phone systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams and managing guest relations effectively.
  • Knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems is preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking and problem-solving skills.
