Service Areas Needed:

We are seeking a part-time OT to serve Placerville and surrounding areas.







Position Summary:

The Occupational Therapist (OT) evaluates and treats patients to improve their ability to perform daily living and work activities. You’ll design and implement individualized therapy plans to help patients regain independence in their home environment while coordinating care with the broader rehabilitation team.







Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective patient care using approved therapy techniques and procedures

• Evaluate patients’ condition, function level, and treatment goals

• Develop individualized treatment plans and update as needed

• Supervise COTAs and HHAs per care plan requirements

• Document treatment notes and progress in the patient’s chart daily

• Assist patients and families with home exercise programs and adaptive equipment needs

• Recommend and evaluate adaptive equipment for the home setting

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies

• Coordinate total patient care with the healthcare team

• Complete discharge summaries and obtain orders when needed

• Submit patient documentation and visit records in a timely manner
