State Role Title: 19013


Hiring Range: Minimum salary- $ 31,261 Maximum salary- $55,000 (The salary is based on experience)

Job Duties


NVMHI is seeking a dependable and highly motivated team player to provide administrative support to the Assistant Chief Nursing executive. To support comprehensive patient-centered care to individuals and groups with complex mental and physical illnesses through planning, coordination of and provision of transportation activities/scheduling of medical consultation appointments and maintenance, distribution and cleaning of medical equipment. Organizes, schedules and supports patient related transportation under the supervision of the Assistant Chief Nurse Executive and direction from Nursing Unit Managers. Develops and implements computer formats to organize and track transportation and medical equipment activities. Maintains taxi & bus voucher logs. Maintains inventory of medical equipment, responds to requests for and delivers medical equipment to units.


Minimum Qualifications


Prior admin experience in an inpatient psychiatric health care setting or hospital setting with direct contact with patients.
Experience with Microsoft office


Additional Considerations


Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
Prior experience coordinating medical consultation services.
Experience working with timekeeping and staff schedule system.
Experience utilizing electronic health record desirable.
Familiar with HIPAA compliance preferred.
