Job Description

Berry Law is seeking a Director of Brand & Communications to lead high-impact brand execution, public relations, and communications strategy for a nationally recognized, veteran-led law firm. 


This leadership role is responsible for strengthening Berry Law’s brand authority through disciplined messaging, earned media, events, and executive visibility. The Director will oversee public relations, brand storytelling, and experiential initiatives that reinforce trust, credibility, and leadership—particularly within the Veteran community. 


What You’ll Do 

  • Lead and execute brand and communications strategy across PR, events, media, and owned channels for the Berry Law brand and the Veteran Led (founder) brand 
  • Manage and mentor the events & public relations team, content production teams, and designers 
  • Drive earned media opportunities, thought leadership, and executive communications 
  • Oversee high-visibility events, sponsorships, and community activations 
  • Enforce brand standards and ensure consistent messaging across all public-facing materials 
  • Partner with firm leadership on reputation management and strategic communications 


What We’re Looking For 

  • 10+ years of experience in brand, communications, PR, or strategic marketing leadership 
  • Proven success with earned media, public-facing initiatives, and executive communications 
  • Strong leadership, judgment, and attention to detail 
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills 
  • Experience with mission-driven organizations or public service brands preferred
