Qualifications:
- 3 years dance instruction experience preferred, preferably with choreography
- Knowledge and ability to teach technique and strategy involved with dance to enhance dancer skill
- Basic first aid skills, and concussion training
- Prior high school and/or college dance experience preferred
- Familiarity with policies of the Wayland Union Board of Education
- Must have ability to work with high school age students
- Demonstrate organization and record keeping skills
- H. S. Diploma required
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Actively recruit and select dance team members
- Coaching of team for competition, by teaching technique, creating routines, and promoting team building
- Represent Wayland Union Schools at all competitions in a positive and professional manner
- Scheduling practices and events
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, staff and officials
Terms of Employment: WUEA Schedule B position, seasonal position only.
Will be employed through EduStaff unless current WUEA member
