Description
The Developmental Technician will train alongside experienced technicians to develop the skills needed to service and repair equipment in customer facilities. This role involves hands-on learning, observing and assisting with service calls, and building the technical knowledge required to safely and efficiently maintain customer equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Assist experienced technicians with inspections, planned maintenance, and basic repairs
• Learn to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Support accurate service documentation and recordkeeping
• Follow all safety procedures and compliance standards
• Communicate professionally with team members and customers during service visits
• Participate in ongoing training to develop technical skills and product knowledge
Requirements
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in mechanical work and a desire to grow into a Road Service Technician role. Previous hands-on experience (automotive, equipment, or general mechanical) is preferred but not required.
Basic familiarity with engines, tools, or mechanical systems is a plus. Exposure to LP, diesel, electrical, or hydraulics is beneficial but can be learned on the job.
