Our Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center has a compassionate team of providers, nurses and technicians with advanced training in wound care management. We work with patients of all ages to accurately diagnose the cause of their wound and develop an effective, tailored treatment strategy focused on achieving positive healing outcomes. How you'll contribute
A Licensed Practical Nurse who excels in this role:
• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Assists RNs with patient care in the Wound Care Center when not participating in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy treatments
• Supports Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy treatments, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures
• Serves as Safety Coordinator for the Wound Care Center, promoting a culture of safety and compliance
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current North Carolina state or compact state LPN license. Additional requirements include:
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• One year of clinical experience preferred (wound care or hyperbaric experience preferred)
• Willingness to complete specialized training in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
